Open Graph & Social Card Checker
See exactly how any page looks when shared on X, LinkedIn, Facebook and WhatsApp — Open Graph tags, Twitter cards and the image crawlers actually see. Free, no signup.
What Open Graph tags control
When someone shares your page on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, WhatsApp or Slack, the platform doesn't render your page — it renders your Open Graph tags. No og:image means a bare text link that gets a fraction of the clicks. This tool fetches any URL, extracts the Open Graph and Twitter card tags exactly as scrapers see them, and renders the share card so you know what people get before you post.
Getting the card right
Use a 1200×630 image (1.91:1) with the critical content centered, set og:title and og:description explicitly rather than trusting fallbacks, and add twitter:card = summary_large_image for the large format on X. Remember platforms cache aggressively — after a fix, re-scrape with the platform's debugger. Check the search-facing half of the same metadata with the meta tag checker.
