Getting started, and the questions people actually ask.

If something here doesn't answer it, get in touch — a person reads those.

Getting started

1

Create an account

Email and password, or sign in with Google. No card required.

2

Add your first site

Paste the URL. The crawl starts immediately and usually finishes inside a minute.

3

Connect Search Console

Optional. Unlocks keyword opportunities using your real query data.

4

Work the Daily Mission

Start at the top. Tasks are ordered by impact, so the first one matters most.

Common questions

Every page starts at 100 and loses points for specific problems: a missing title costs 15, a missing meta description 12, no H1 costs 10, and a 4xx or 5xx status code costs 20. Smaller deductions cover title and meta length, duplicate H1s, missing alt text, absent internal links, slow load times, a missing canonical tag, and no structured data.

The site-level score is the average across every page we crawled. The full table is on the features page.

Per page: title, meta description and keywords, canonical URL, H1/H2/H3 structure, internal and external links, images and their alt attributes, page size, load time, HTTP status code, JSON-LD and microdata structured data, Open Graph tags and Twitter card tags. Across the site it also flags duplicate titles and duplicate meta descriptions.

No. The crawler works on any publicly reachable site without it. Connecting Search Console adds the Opportunity Finder, which needs your real impression and position data to identify queries where you rank between 4th and 20th — the ones where a small improvement produces a disproportionate gain in clicks.

No, and this trips people up. They're two separate authorisations. Signing in with Google just identifies you. Connecting Search Console is a second, explicit step in the dashboard that grants read access to your search performance data. You can do either without the other.

The crawler discovers pages through your sitemaps and by following internal links to a bounded depth. On the free tier it stops at 25 pages; paid plans remove that cap.

On demand at any time. Paid plans add scheduled crawls where you choose a frequency and priority, so audits re-run automatically and you can see whether a change actually improved things.

Password reset isn't built yet — it's an endpoint we haven't finished. For now, get in touch and we'll sort it out manually. If you signed up with Google, use the Google button and you'll be straight back in.

We respect robots.txt. Anything disallowed there is skipped, which means a site that blocks crawlers broadly will produce a thin report. If your report looks unexpectedly small, robots.txt is the first thing to check.
